Eye Health Tips



Your eyes are an important part of your daily health regime. Follow these simple tips and protect your vision:

 Follow the 20-20- 20 rule- While working on digital devices, take a break after every 20 minutes and look at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

 Wear sunglasses- UV radiations can cause damage to your eyes and be the reason for certain diseases like cataract, eyelid cancer etc. Wear sunglasses with 100% UVA and UVB protection.

 Protect your eyes- It is advisable to protect your eyes while playing sports or during certain jobs which may cause injuries to the eyes.

 Eat healthy- Eat a healthy and balanced diet especially foods like beans, peanuts, eggs which are good for your heart as they improve blood circulation to all the parts of the body including your precious eyes.

 Eye care- Do not take eye problems for granted. Consult a doctor if you find something abnormal in your vision. Also go for an eye test once in every two years.
